The Scottish Deformation

1 + 7 . 0 + 8 . 1 + 7

"Live your lives in irrelevant fear
during your temporary stay on the Earth. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were able to redeem the coupon for the empty way of life  handed down to you from your forefathers,  but with the precious drink of  SAWNEY HA'PETH  - a haggis without blemish or defect."

A pilgrimage from the Scottish Parliament to Edinburgh Castle on the anniversary of Parliament approval of the Scots Confession, the first formational document in the creation of the Church of Scotland. The pilgrimage was halted by security and Royal military police at the
Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

 Psalm 88

1 O Lord, the God that saves me: day and night I cry out to thee.

2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear upon my cry;

3 I am overwhelmed with troubles and my life draweth nigh unto death

4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as one that hath no strength:

5 Set apart and free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more,
whom are cut off from thy care.

6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.

7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves.

  סֶלָה

8 Thou hast taken my closest friend far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them:
I am shut up, and can not escape.

9 Mine eye mourneth with grief.

10 Wilt thou show they wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise thee? .

11 Shall thy lovingkindness declared in the grave? Or thy faithfulness in destruction?

12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? Thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

13 But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

14 Lord, why thou castest off my soul? Why hidest thou thy face from me?

15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.

16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off, destroyed me.

17 They come round me daily like water; a flood that has encompassed and engulfed me.

18 Mine friend hast thou put far from me, and my friendship into darkness.
